Wild Rose SPF 6 is a moisturizing cream from the Korres line. Korres Natural Products is a Greek company that advertises to create “beneficial and safe products.” The Company states its mission is “to develop safe, effective, and natural products by avoiding synthetic compounds and replacing them with greatly beneficial naturally derived ingredients…products are further enriched with active plant extracts.” Due to its rich texture, Wild Rose moisturizer is ideal for Normal-to-Dry skin, and, although it contains SPF 6 and Titanium Dioxide (a natural sunscreen), My Beauty Beat recommends using a separate Sunscreen that offers broader protection.

Korres Wild Rose Ingredients

The stand-out ingredient in Wild Rose is Rose Canina Fruit Oil. This plant extract is a natural source of Vitamin C (an important antioxidant) that helps to even skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Imperata Cylindrica Root Extract, also a plant extract, has been said to aid in Collagen synthesis and optimize moisture absorption in the skin. Additionally, this product contains prominent oils and antioxidants including Olea Europea (Olive Oil), Ternifolia (Macademia) Seed Oil, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Vitis Vinifera (the powerful Antioxidant Grape Seed Extract), Phytic Acid (an Antioxidant) and Tocopheryl Acetate (the antioxidant Vitamin E). Korres uses only gentle solvents for their plant extracts and refrains from using the synthetic compound Propylene Glycol, the standard solvent used in many cosmetics.
