Lucky Magazine, April 2008: Korres Lip Balm
In the April 2008 issue of Lucky Magazine, Korres Natural Products Pomegranate Lip Butter is featured. Although My Beauty Beat does not normally discuss lip glosses and balms, needed to make an exception for this one!
In short, love it. Not only is Korres one of Beauty Beat’s favorite lines (see our review Korres Wild Rose Moisturizer), but it contains one of our favorite moisturzing ingredients, Shea Butter. Shea Butter is a solid fatty oil from the nuts of wild shea trees in Africa. The moisturizing and healing properties of Shea Butter have been a mainstay of African pharmacology for centuries to protect, heal, and smoothe the skin. High in unsaponifiable fats as well as Vitamins A and E, Shea Butter is recognized for its amazing healing effects on skin conditions, dryness, and cell regeneration (see Beauty Blog Post Yea for Shea!).
This lip butter does have a tint and fruity taste which I don’t mind but, if not to your liking, think its moisturizing effects are still worthwhile.
Love the “look,” of the MBB Blog. This product looks amazing. Can’t wait to try it. Where can you purchase this lip balm? Would not mind the tint and fruity taste if the moisturizing effects are as good as you say. Lip balms are the “best.” Yea for Shea. Quintana.
